Boja’s brother-in-law and I imitate a "friendship" statue. As a foreigner, I played the part of the Russian soldier on the right. Jozsi plays the part of the lowly Hungarian. I think we did a pretty good job, but we got one key detail very, very wrong – in the statue, the subservient Hungarian is, of course, shorter than the more well-dressed (and likely armed) Russian. Also notice how the Hungarian figure uses both hands in a show of gratitude and servility.

Visiting this park with Jozsi was like visiting a Body Worlds exhibit with a medical doctor (something I’ve also been fortunate enough to do). Jozsi is an extraordinarily well-read student of Hungarian history. Despite the fact that it was Jozsi’s first time visiting the park, he was able to tell us the backstory on every single statue in the park and the horrors perpetrated by the real-life figures many of them represented. He is also extremely funny – Boja and her sister spent the whole time laughing really hard.

They agree to his offer and get dropped off at their destination. After that incident Vinod and Bindhu stay in touch by talking and meeting often and Vinod falls in love for her. Raji who happens to be Vinod’s cousin,is a doctor by profession and is madly in love with Vinod but keeps her love silent. Raji gets very hurt when Vinod and Bindhu gets married. Heres a twist in the story, for some strange reason, Bindhu gets horrible nightmares every night. No one knows the reason behind this.
